Rock Salt Vintage began the week after I graduated college. I studied fine art photography, but quickly decided I needed a creative outlet that involved working with my hands. I began experimenting with a variety of jewelry making techniques, which initially included assembling found and vintage materials and rough crystals, hence the name Rock Salt Vintage.

Since its start in 2011, RSV has evolved to represent original handmade designs with the use of self taught metalwork techniques. A day in the studio may include designing, soldering, sanding or polishing. There are endless steps that go into creating a single piece of handmade jewelry!

I draw inspiration from architecture and simple natural forms, which is represented by the structural yet delicate quality in my work. My goal is to create a piece that is unique yet simple and comfortable to wear everyday.

Each piece is made by hand in my Cincinnati home studio using either recycled or ethically sourced quality materials meant to last.
